Scenarios

Aussie Ausie Aussie by Andrew Drinkwater / Indigo. The ECB's latest novel idea of improving English cricket has seen Durham taken over by the Australians. It seems that to play the Aussies week in week out will improve the standard of English cricket. You play as Australia against the other Seventeen counties in the four normal competitions. There is a mixture of old and young, established and new-school players in there, and hopefully you should be able to lead them to success. The only problem that might arise is that you haven't enough players to complete matches due to the World Cup, though during testing, I found that a full eleven players were available. If, however, injuries restrict this, contact me and I'll find a fix. To use : Unzip it to your ICC2 directory, run the game, and load the .cap file.

Australia A from ICC International. Australia have had a terrible lead up to the World Cup and have called up all their 'A' side. With embarrassment and the coach's job at stake can you save them? Thanks to Troy Vigors. Troy is interested in any comments regarding this scenario and ideas for future scenarios.

Baptism of Fire - Australia by Dave Austin. The Australian Cricket Board have decided that for the 1999 World Cup, they will employ completely new players. In the chosen squad, none have played any games at the international level, however, there are still many good players in the squad destined to be the next star. Have the ACB made the right choice? It's up to you to find out. Note: This is a World Cup Only game, meaning once completed, the game is finished. If you manager to win the WC with this scenario, post your cup final scorecards on the Official ICC Forum.

Baptism of Fire - England by Dave Austin. The England Cricket Board have decided that for the 1999 World Cup, they will employ completely new players. In the chosen squad, none have played any games at the international level, however, there are still many good players in thesquad destined to be the next star. Have the ECB made the right choice? It's up to you to find out. Note: This is a World Cup Only game, meaning once completed, the game is finished. If you manager to win the WC with this scenario, post your cup final scorecards on the Official ICC Forum.

England scenario from ICC International. You are England 2-0 down in the New Zealand series, can you save England from being the worst team in the world by drawing the series with New Zealand and furthermore can you beat South Africa again to restore some pride.

Essex Scenario from ICC International. The Essex team has walked out after a disastrous season and only a few remain. Their only hope is their new captain Stephen Flemming can you take them to promotion within 2 seasons.

Kenya from PC Cricket World. Take charge of Kenya

Over the Hill - England by Dave Austin. The England Cricket Board have decided that for the 1999 World Cup, they can no longer take risks on young up and coming players. They have instead chosen a squad of very very experienced players. Mike Atherton is the youngest of this pension-seeking mob at the age of 31. Have the ECB made the right choice? Can Robin Smith revive his career? It's up to you to find out. Note: This is a World Cup Only game, meaning once completed, the game is finished. If you manage to win the WC with this scenario, post your cup final scorecards on the Official ICC Forum.

Scotland from PC Cricket World. Take charge of Scotland

Young Lions 99 from Indigo. The follow up to the well-received Young Lions scenario sees you take over the reins at Surrey in another sticky situation. As in the original, a terrible season has lead to the walkout of the entire playing staff. Morale is at an all-time low, and prospects are low. However, an injection of cash has allowed the management to invest in the talents of Jason Gillespie, two of Scotland's World Cup players, along with Adrian Rollins, who has been appointed captain. The rest of the team has been made up with players from the lower ranks. A cash surplus is also available for the start of next season - but will anyone want to join this rag-tag team of misfits? Thats down to you. Your mission is to guide the team to a trophy within 5 seasons. Nothing less will do. (638 Kb)

Fielding Positions

Super Players

Best by Gordon Van Der Heever. Saved position for 2006 Warwickshire who have 2 of the super Sri Lankan keepers in their squad. One has been changed to English and been made very young so he will stay with you for some time. Now you should be able to dominate the world although Sri Lanka will be tough to beat.
