I have finally started on a new site for CricketGames.com. Current progress can be found at testing.cricketgames.com - in time I will move over details of all games but for now it has news of 2 new (to me) cricket games plus improved forums.

Forum is back up.

There appears to be a major problem with the Forum at present with all attempts to connect to it resulting in an Internal Server Error. It looks like my provider has suddenly changed my configuration (without warning) and broken ikonboard. I have submitted a support request and hope the forum will be back up soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Merry Christmas to everyone still reading CricketGames.com. Hopefully 2006 will bring more updates to the site. The reason being that I have now bought a dedicated Windows server. Over the next month or so I hope to convert the site to a database driven site which will make updates much easier and also allow other users to post news items.

For those people living in Australia I saw in EB Games today that International Cricket Captain 2005 was in their sale and has been reduced by 25% to $37.50.

Sporting-Gifts.com may have jumped the gun a bit but seeing as they are now including International Cricket Captain 2005 in their catalogue I can confirm some points. It is definitely happening as I have been aware of the project for several months and whilst not as involved as I was with 2000, 2001 and 2002 I have been on contact with the developers on a regular basis and have got a recent build of the game. A website with more details is hopefully in development. When I *can* say more I will.

Well I am now based in Brisbane, Australia :) It has taken a bit longer than I had hoped to get on-line here. Currently very busy trying to settle in at work and organise living in Australia.

Another mention regarding MSN Messenger and work as some people seemingly do not understand. During the week I can not talk privately at all. If I say I can not talk don't send any more messages at all not even to say sorry or okay. Several times last week people interrupted important meetings with my team leader or manager at my desk even after being told not to. The reason MSN Messenger is showing me as on-line is that Kuju use it for internal messages as the team is split over two buildings.

The number of virii I am getting sent daily is on the increase again. Everyone please make sure you have a virus checker and very latest definitions installed. For preventions/solutions see the Virus Warning page.

The games name is World of Cricket 2003. The year will change according to the year that the game is finished. SO it could be World of Cricket 2005 for that matter. The game is an arcade style game.

The feature list is certainly very impressive - this may be a game to watch out for. More details when I get them.

Since the beginning of November I have been working for Kuju (developers of Microsoft Train Simulator). As there offices are based in Surrey this means I am away during the week and will only have very limited access to email and the forum. Kuju use MSN Messenger for their internal communications so whilst I will appear on-line I will not be able to discuss cricket related items.

Finally got around to doing an update for the site. Will try and make updates more regular now but no promises. Still got a large backlog of emails and web links to check and add.

The number of virii I am getting sent daily is still far too high. I have now added a Virus Warning page with explanation and solutions if you have received an unexpected attachment or virus warning seemingly from a cricketgames.com account. I recommend everyone has a look at it.

Recently Cricket Web redesigned their site so all my download links were broken. They did inform me of the change and I have now updated all of the Freeware/Shareware/ICC/ICC 2 download links so they are all available again. They also have enough space to host the demos for ICC/ACC/ICC 2/ICC 2000 which I was able to send to them. If I have missed any download links please let me know.
