	No attempt has been make to tweak any ratings. Rating are derived purely from statistics and auto-adjusted if a player has played less than 20 Tests.
	Squads are literally just the last 20 players to have played so might not be balanced. Known retired Players like Ponting, Hussey, Strauss & Martin have been removed but others still may be included. Rogers, Agar & Faulkner were added to the Australian squad.
	Similarly grounds selected for a Squad are the last 6 home grounds.
	All weather details for grounds are the same. Likewise starting time and sunset are all the same.
	Ground 'adjustments' for types of bowlers have been determined from the actual statistics of matches played on them.
	Every player to have played Test cricket since 1995 is still included if you want to adjust squads.

Michael's Notes:
Each squad is based on touring squads or home teams from 1969 to 1989. I have included the rest of the World sides that toured England and Australia in 70-71 as well as the WSC Australian squad. Averages are based on career statistics rather than form for the series in question and players with only a few test matches have had their stats changed to something resembling their First Class figures.

My test cricket database. It contains squads from Australia, England, West Indies of 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, XI. (XI=best of), India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa of 90s, XI and Sri Lanka XI, Zimbabwe XI plus Australia 1948. All averages are first class

This database includes squads from 15 associate members of the ICC. The ratings of this database may seem to be high when compared to those of test plating nations. The ratings have been devised based on the player's performance at the ICC trophies.

Leigh's updated test database for August 1999. The only changes are to the England and New Zealand teams. This is because they are the only sides to have played since my last update.

This is my newly updated test database for ITC v1.30. From now on I will be updating the database every month. This month's is called 'ITC Test Database (June 1999)'. Because it is a monthly update it only has the latest players on it. So player like Jayasuriya and Muralitharan who have been injured and have missed tests will not be on it.

Excellent unofficial database that Leigh regularly updates.

This is based on the ODI averages as at the beginning of the World Cup with slight alterations to remove anomalies, and for personal taste. As Scotland haven't played any ODI's, their ratings are based on their international matches (3 and 1-day) as on CricInfo.

This database is the new default database supplied with ITC. It is the first major update for 12 months. It reflects the new players on the international scene and replaces over 60 players who have retired or have not played a Test in the last 2 years. Ratings have been carefully selected. They are initially based upon Test averages but if not enough Tests (25+ normally) have been played career averages are referred to and a suitable value derived.

This database has the following All Time Great squads, Aus:1932-33, 1948, 1960, 1975, England: 1932-33, 1953, 1956, 1960, 1981, India: 1971-74, New Zealand: 1984, Pakistan: 1987, South Africa: 1970, West Indies: 1950, 1963, 1976, 1984.

Each year has an associated Word document explaining rules and restrictions if you want to be historically correct. I previously stated that Ross would be doing every year in history. Whilst he is still intending to do this they will not be free. This is the free version covering 1877-1885. How much the full version will be I do not yet know but considering the huge amount of research required to complete this task I do not consider Ross charging unfair. It is the amount of research needed that always stopped me doing something similar and I always stated that if it ever did happen I would have to charge for it

Note there are some extreme cases where players have artificially high skills due to playing very few tests. No attempt has been made to smooth these out. An example is Emery of Australia 1990s who having played in only 1 Test (Healy has been the keeper in all other tests) took lots of catches so has a very high fielding rating (higher than Healy). If you play Australia 90s with computer generated teams Emery will be picked rather than Healy.

This database is similar to the one above except it allows players to appear in more than one squad. There are 20 players in each squad, ideally made up of 9 batsman, 9 bowlers and 2 keepers. To differentiate between players that appear in more than one squad the relevant squad is appended to their name. e.g. I.T. Botham [1980s]. The skills are calculated based upon Tests for the decade so Botham actually has better ratings for the 1970s than he does for the 1980s as he actually performed better in the 1970s than he did in the 1980s.

Leigh's Notes: Each squad has the maximum twenty players. It has only just been completed so there may well be a few errors in it. People can email me with any changes they would like to be made to it. I have not yet changed any of the conditions for the grounds either.

Casey's Notes: I based it on the 99 SA Domestic sadom99 file by Dave Austin. I tried to modify the values with information from the Cricinfo site for the 2000/01 season. For Each squad I tried to have two pitches available to play on based on Cricinfo. I also tried to vary the factors between each. I hope I did the player factors o.k. Feel free to make any adjustments to squads, grounds and players.

Imran's Notes: I decided to do this as most of the big guns don't play too much for their local sides but do feauture in this patrons trophy database.

This database includes 26 squads and 408 players from the Ranji Tournament squads. A supreme effort by Aditya.

My brother Glenn and I have created a 2000 English County database for ITC. We might release a new and improved version later in the season.

Zimbabwe Domestic Database Logan Cup 1999-2000

All averages have been estimated by Logan Cup scorecards, so they may not be exactly correct.

2 teams from each county - 1970s (17 players) and an all-time side (20 players). Only 1 team from Durham an all-time. An extra 3rd team from Surrey 1950s side. All averages are first class. Players only appear in 1 team.

Credit of course goes to all the people who made these domestic databases. I used all the recent ones, except with England I'm fairly sure I used Leigh's. No Sri Lankan one I noticed.

Includes 17 English first class counties of 1977, 5 Australian state sides of 1976/77 and 6 test sides of 1976/77. All averages are first class career. The Australian state sides are about 75% correct. Some players are in more than one squad, e.g. IVA Richards is in Somerset,Queensland and West Indies.

After further testing of my ITC database, I found that it was not up to scratch really with Sheriyar dominating the bowling records after many games. So I completely overhauled the database, changing all the batting averages and most bowling, along with updating fielding positions and adding second initials to players who have them. Also changed are those grounds who do not have a proper name. I feel that now it is even more accurate the real county game (!), mostly thanks to the ease of use making a database in ITC, and the accuracy of playing skill ratings against skill ratings.

This is not a perfect database, for one there are no ground details. Apart from the test grounds, I know little about other county wickets.

I have virtually no knowledge of South African cricket, and what is here is based on the limited info at CricInfo. They are the 1998/99 squads from the last series they had. Averages are roughly based on the series averages (not career averages). I haven't modified any of the grounds conditions. I made this database as when I went through the downloads here, this was one I didn't see there. Thought it would be a good start. Of course I probably made some errors in terms of ho some players play, but I hope that people who use it and find the errors let me know so it can be modified accordingly.

This was created using Playfair, and the averages are career averages are as at the end of the 98 season. I have amended some depending on performances over the Winter, others due to being young and untested or old and over the hill, and some because of improvements over the past couple of seasons which wouldn't otherwise be reflected in the ratings.

Me and my brother Glenn have brought out a new version of our county database for ITC for the 1999 season.

Also the database is about 75% accurate, which means there are still some errors but it was the best I could do with the info that was available to me.

My brother, Glenn Stiemens, and I have made this 1998 county database. We used the players carrer averages to work out their skill except for some players.

Some stats adjusted if they would result in a player being better than they could be in reality (e.g. Hutchison of Tasmania played 1 game for 6 wickets and a bowling average of 16). I have adjusted stats so that they recreate what I believe to be a reasonable representation of the player's performance during the currents season. Generally, anyone with over 300 runs or 20 wickets has been rated how their stats would suggest (i.e.batting rating equals average, bowling rating equals 70-average). A specialist bowler with a bowling average over 60 was given a rating of 10 for their bowling. An all-rounder with a bowling average greater than 65 was given 5 as their bowling rating. Stats are for 1997/98 Sheffield Shield season only, no other first class games are included. Thanks to Dan Thomas for a great game!

This database is a combination of the 3 above. NB: This database may have some players repeated if they play as a foreign player in another country e.g. Tom Moody.
