I am trying to locate an alternative location for these files but there are far fewer free web space sites these days and most only offer a few Mb (I need at least 50Mb). I can not afford to host them direct on CricketGames.com due to the excessive bandwidth costs they would incur. If you really need the file consider buying the CricketGames.com CD-ROM which has all the missing files on it. Do not bother emailing me asking you to send you individual files as all such requests will be ignored.

Another rant as I am getting seriously p****d off with this. I an seriously contemplating changing this site so I just update my cricket games and remove everything else. Why? Simple I am obviously wasting my time judging by the number of emails I get or questions asked in the forum that cover details already mentioned here. The time saved not researching or updating this site regularly to cover every cricket game available for the PC can be put to better use elsewhere. If people are going to be to lazy to read these pages first then I am going to take the same attitude and not bother to update. Think before sending emails. A non cricket related request - A new virus W32.Sircam.Worm@mm is currently very prevalent (I am getting it sent to me about 10 times a day and getting a bit sick of it!). The compilation of the next CricketGames.com CD-ROM is taking a little longer than I anticipated. A lot of links I used in the past are now dead so I am hunting down some files. I will endavour to get it released as soon as possible and apologise to those people who have ordered and whose copies have been delayed. CricketGames.com has entered in to a minor partnership with Cricket-Online. They now link their PC software sections to the relevant sections on CricketGames.com so welcome to any new visitors. Sorry for the lack of updates recently but have been busy with development on International Cricket Captain 2001 (PC). Join the CricketGames.com fantasy league in the CricInfo Norwich Union Fanstay League. You have to be a registered user of CricInfo (free and quick) to enter and there are prizes to be won. Once you have entered your team view it and then select the join a group of friends option and enter CricketGames.com as the league name. Teams must be submitted by Tuesday so be quick. The new Forum has now been running fine for the last 2 weeks and currently has 86 members, with 163 posts in 48 topics. If you have not yet joined come in and take a look. Passwords for the Forum should now have been sent out. There was a problem with the setting for sendmail which was not correctly sending email. It had worked for me because my email address was a local one as far as the forum was concerned. If anyone has still not get their password please send me your username and the email address you registered and I will get it sent out to you. Sorry for the confusion - now hopefully the forum can start being used.
I have created a new Forum. This forum has several advantages over the older one. You do have to register to be able to post messages. A few people have mentioned that they have not received their password via email when registering. You must enter a valid email address (this can be kept hidden and will not be used or passed on to anyone) so triple check you have entered it correctly. If you are sure it was the correct email address go to the Login screen. There is an option there for 'Forgot your Password' - this will resend the password to the original registered email address. If that still fails re-register and be very careful entering your email address. Try and avoid using web based email addresses like hotmail and yahoo. Another hectic weekend has meant I have not had time to do the updates to this site I wanted to. From the beginning of May though I will only be away 3 days a week (as opposed to 5 at the moment) so should be able to update more often. I am slowly restoring the downloads on this site. Hopefully they will remain working for a while this time.
It seems my NCBI account (The Cricket Files) has been terminated without warning. I used this account for some of the downloads due to excessive bandwidth charges on my main account. It is probably excessive bandwidth again which has caused them to be cancelled. Until I can locate and upload to another server these downloads will remain down. Sorry but there is no way I can afford the bandwidth charges this site incurs if I put the downloads on the main account. Someone obviously does as they've put together this impressive (and slighty obsessive) guide to the best of them. Finally in a position where I can attempt an update. I was away a lot over the Christmas/New Year period and then earlier this week my PC got in to a state where it keep resetting during boot up. After many failed attempts at resuscitation this meant the dreaded reformat and reinstalling everything which has taken several days.
