World Cricket 2000 by Eureka Software has only been released in Australia. It requires Win 95/98, SVGA and a Soundblaster or compatible soundcard. It is a sequel to World Cricket 99 and has been written using Macromedia. Hopefully it is better then its prequel which was terrible. A glance at the screenshots shows it does not have proper player details but still uses fake names (but fairly close even if they are out of date as Tailor (sic) still plays for Australia. I have not heard anything else about this game. If you know anything about this game send me details. Features as listed on Eureka Software's pages (note this page can not be easily found on the Eureka site unless you do a site search!) BATTING There are 12 multiple offensive batting shots including the square cut, pull shot, hook, sweep and off drive. EXCITING RUN OUT SEQUENCES Cut sequences add a level of excitement to those close games. THIRD UMPIRE Exciting run out sequence with third umpire decision for those close calls. PRACTICE MATCH Played between two countries, choose the maximum amount of overs to be bowled. Select easy or normal mode to set game difficulty. RUN RATE COMPARISON At any stage, you can view and compare the batting performances of both teams. PLAYER PROFILE Incorporates players personal details. This includes batting and bowling statistics of all 18 players in each of the nine international countries plus a Super World XI team. The Install Rookie option allows you to create your very own team or modify any existing team and assign each players attribute as either batter, bowler or all rounder. INTERACTIVE FIELDING You can dismiss a batsman if you are quick and sharp. DETAILED SCORE CARD Includes fall of wickets, batter's performance and your team progress. Reviews Downloads Feedback Send feedback about World Cricket 2000. Nathan Growden said on 24 April 2000 This game is shocking. It is the worst cricket game I've ever seen. There is nothing good about this game. The sound is crappy, the names are fake, and the gameplay is as good as sticky wickets (and I love sticky wicket, just it was made 10years ago). I would even play commodore 64 cricket before this one. I advise everyone to stay away from this one. It is shocking. Its not worth 5 cents. How anyone could of being paid for making such rubbish... well I don't understand it. I'm waiting for Dan and the people at Empire Sports to publish ICC 2000. That's what we all want isn't it? Sam Barber said on 18 April 2000 I played World Cricket 2000. It is bad. Real, Real bad. Even worse than any of EA's efforts. That is all I have to say. Hints Cheats Links Screenshots
